16 Vayathinile is the debut movie of director of Bharathiraja and hopefully the biggest blockbuster movie ever in tamil with two big stars and made in a very low budget. Rajinikanth and Kamalhassan do the lead roles and this movie turned their image on Tamil cinema also helped them to great future.
The music of the movie is done by Ilaiyaraja sir and we got some of the excellent evergreen songs in Tamil cinema industry. The movie pathinaru vayathinile is one of the movies that will be ever remembered as a milestone in Tamil cinema.
